New substances added to REACH candidate list of SVHC

The European Chemicals Agency issued a notification on 19 January 2021 adding two new substances to the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC), under the European REACH regulation, bringing the total number of substances on the list to 211.

The two substances are both considered as toxic to reproduction and have been used in a variety of applications including inks, toners and the production of plastics and rubbers:
