Electrically powered office furniture guide updated

The Furniture Industry Research Association have published an updated version of the guide entitled ‘Electrically powered office furniture for the GB market - a guide to the Regulations’ which includes amendments related to Brexit and associated legislation changes including the UKCA mark.

The guide aims to help companies across the furniture supply chain understand the application of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008. Identifying the relationship with furniture products and the impact on electrically actuated motorised office furniture falling within the scope of the Regulations.

The updated guide is free to FIRA Members and is available to download below.
