The Furniture Design Toolkit for the domestic sector is the only design resource to contain this highly valuable information, provided by industry experts on how to incorporate ergonomics, standards and legislation into the design process for domestic furniture, furniture for the elderly and disabled users and furniture for bariatric users.

The Toolkit aims to benefit designers by:

  • Aiding faster development times between concept and final product
  • Providing a better understanding of ergonomics, usability and Standards
  • Ensuring the design of furniture suitable for use, improving user well-being and productivity
