The Furniture Industry Research Association has today (9 January) published its annual ‘Statistics Digest for the UK Furniture Industry’. The 50 page publication covers the period from 2012-2015, alongside some provisional data and estimates for 2016.
New standard for office desking published
FIRA can announce that a new European Standard for office desking has been published. The standard: BS EN 527-2: 2016: Office furniture - Work tables - Part 2: Safety, strength and durability requirements replaces the 2002 edition, which has been withdrawn with immediate effect.
