Workshop: electrically operated kitchen units and height adjustable desking

prEN 17684 Furniture - Electrically operated furniture - Stability, strength, durability and mechanical safety requirements is currently out for consultation.

The Research Association are hosting a series of workshops to obtain industry feedback on the draft. Comments will then be fed back to the standards committee to ensure that members voices are represented.

Details of the first workshop are:

• Focus: Electrically operated kitchen units and height adjustable desking
• Hosted by: Levent Caglar
• Date: Tuesday 9 August
• Timings: 09.30-13.00
• Location: FIRA International, Stevenage, Hertfordshire

Workshop delegates will be given a copy of the draft to help them understand more and determine the impacts. Delegates can also send product samples in advance, or being these on the day, so that the workshop can be tailored to their needs.
