​Two British Standards re-confirmed

BSI has announced that two British Standards have gone through their 5 year review period and have been confirmed without and changes:

BS 5852-2: 1982 Fire tests for furniture. Methods of test for the ignitability of upholstered composites for seating by flaming sources

This standard is referenced by the Furniture & Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 as amended, and therefore has to remain unchanged.

BS 8509: 2008+A1:2011 Children’s beds for domestic use. Safety requirements and test methods
