SBFI receive third FIRA International Ergonomics Excellence Award
Designers and manufacturers, SBFI, have received a FIRA International Ergonomics Excellence Award for their range of Aspect Trading Desks. This is the third Ergonomics Excellence Award for SBFI and follows previous recognition for their Arc Monitor Arm and Axiom Monitor Arm.
The Aspect Dealer Desks are height adjustable, which enables users to vary their working posture between standing and seated. A key feature of the range is that users can programme individual settings enabling multi-users to hot desk but easily have the desk set to the desired height to suit their needs. Furthermore, the CPU storage is located above the desk’s legroom clearance zone which enables users to move freely around their workstations. The range’s tool rail also enables monitor arms to be added which gives more freedom for users to set their workstation to meet their needs and offer greater desk space.
Speaking on the FIRA International Ergonomics Excellence Award, Andrew Edwards, Head of Design at SBFI said, “The Aspect range includes 'full trading’ which can accommodate seven PC's whilst still offering maximum legroom and full range height adjustments’, also Remote processing and trader light products with secure enclosures for PCs, remote receivers and other IT equipment.
“All products were designed with productivity and wellness for the workplace in mind and it’s great that they have been recognised with FIRA’s Ergonomic Excellence Award.”
