Latest additions and updates to substances of very high concern (SVHCs) have been published on the ECHA website. The list for authorisation now contains 191 substances. Members of the Furniture Industry Research Association can view the eight new SVHCs added to the Candidate List following the SVHC identification process, which included the involvement of the Member State Committee (MSC).
Two further substances have also been added to the list, having been identified as SVHCs by the European Commission due to their respiratory sensitising properties, toxic for reproduction and endocrine-disrupting properties, respectively.
