Proposal to implement a new substance registration process under REACH

The purpose of this paper is to update members of the Furniture Industry Research Association that the European Commission is preparing an Implementing Regulation under REACH to stipulate the registration procedures for new substances placed on the market. A second proposal is evaluating whether the requirements for chemical dossier updates needs strengthening.
