A new US standard for office storage furniture has been published:

ANSI-BIFMA X5.9: 2019 Storage units

The standard is a complete update of the standard and will prompt the withdrawal of the followings standards:

ANSI-BIFMA X5.3: 2007 Vertical files
ANSI-BIFMA X5.9: 2012 Storage units
