The Furniture Industry Research Association has produced a report for it's members which offers guidance on buying and selling timber in a Brexit no-deal scenario. The report also includes links to government guidance documents.
The Department Environment, Food and Rural Affairs published a number of papers on the 24th September 2018 which offer guidance to industry in the event of a “no deal BREXIT scenario”. One of these papers provides guidance on the buying and selling of timber. This paper seeks to highlight the key challenges that may exist for UK importers and exporters of timber and timber products.
