Erich Keller acknowledged with Ergonomics Excellence Award
Swiss-based Erich Keller have been acknowledged with a FIRA International Ergonomics Excellence Award for their F-Com Height Adjustable Trading Desk.
The F-Com Height Adjustable Trading Desk was quick to adjust and allowed users to move between sitting and standing with ease. Users are able to programme the desk height to three preferred height settings to suit their needs and the task at hand.
The height adjustment can be operated via mouse, panel, monitor or Bluetooth. Additionally the desk has ‘integrated collision’ sensors which halt the desk’s movement if it encounters an obstruction, at which point the desk automatically lowers to 40mm to enable the obstruction to be removed.
The F-Com Height Adjustable trading desk can accommodate up to six CPU’s housed within cabinets so as not to obstruct leg room under the desk, giving more freedom of movement to users. The desk also includes a rail to attach monitor arms and has a smart cable management system which helps to keep the desktop clear, again giving more space for the user. Furthermore the desk has several accessories including a handset cradle, drinks bottle holder and drinks bottle/cup holder. All are extendible and can be placed in varying locations along the length of the desk to suit the varying tasks of the user.
Speaking on the FIRA International Ergonomics Excellence Award, André Notter, International Sales Manager, at Erich Keller said “Whilst working on the concept for the F-Com Height Adjustable Trading Desk we were striving for ergonomic design alongside an end product which would be practical within the workplace.
“The result is three desks within the F-Com range; ‘Comfortable dealing desk', 'Simple office desk' and 'Workstation with technical box' which cover all requirements, with or without height adjustment. Furthermore F-Com can be modified or extended at any time and the almost limitless modularity and extensive range of accessories provides maximum flexibility for users”.
