University of Cambridge furniture fit-out by Flexiform

After being awarded a place on the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium Ltd (NEUPC) Framework, Flexiform recently completed a major furniture installation for the University of Cambridge. Working with a specific design scheme, we supplied a wide range of furniture that met the design specification, the overall aim of the space, and the needs of the target audience, bringing the scheme to life.

Working alongside the external designer, the focus was on providing a write-up space where students and researchers could come to after completing an experiment in the laboratories, whether to collaborate or work independently. The multi-purpose space was also to be used for admin work and breakout by students. As furniture manufacturers and suppliers, we sourced a range of furniture to achieve this goal and to compliment the design aesthetic both the University of Cambridge and the designer were aiming for.
