National Bed Federation Ltd

The NBF is the recognised trade association representing UK manufacturers of beds and mattresses, and their suppliers. Founded in 1912, its members today account for about 70-75% of total UK bedding turnover. All members have signed up to a strict Code of Practice to ensure they comply with relevant regulations and are safe, clean and honest.

Its activities also include the bed industry's premier trade show, the Bed Show, held every September in Telford; the Sleep Council Sales Academy, the only generic online sales course specifically designed for bed retail sales staff with an emphasis on selling sleep and measuring and improving sales conversion rates and average sales values; and The Sleep Council, which for 20 years has reached out to consumers as an impartial, generic body promoting the benefits of a good night's sleep and the importance of a good bed, regularly replaced, to achieving that.
