Childcare Products Testing

Cot Image

The testing of items such as pushchairs, High chairs, changing units, cots and children’s beds provides reassurance to you and your customers, not only for meeting mandatory safety requirements, but as an insight into the performance and durability of a product when it is being used. This will help to identify any issues prior to the product going on sale, reducing returns and customer complaints

FIRA International performs testing of a wide variety of childcare articles and related children’s products to both British and European Standards.

We aim to help make the process of understanding regulations and legislation, such as the General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR), and how they relate to your product more simple, by offering expert advice and information alongside testing services. This knowledge and expertise, combined with our consultancy and research, enables us to work productively with manufacturers and retailers in producing compliant products
