Biocidal Products Regulation Guide

The Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR), Regulation (EU) 528/2012, concerns the sale and usage of biocidal products that safeguard humans, animals, materials, or articles from harmful organisms such as pests or bacteria by the action of the active substances contained in the biocidal product.

There are three groups of biocides defined under the BPR, disinfectants and general biocides, preservatives, and pest control that are widely used across the furniture industry.
