FIRA is running a unique course to help producers, suppliers, retailers and importers understand the complex area’s of cover performance and fire safety requirements for upholstery.
The course will:
explain the fire safety requirements of the UK furniture regulations
explain fabric performance requirements
discuss relevant test procedures with demonstrations
translate the need for ‘satisfactory quality’
discuss the implications of FR treatments on fabric performance
discuss your responsibilities (record keeping/certification etc)
The course led by Sue Brighten, an internationally accepted expert in upholstery technology, provides delegates, who are actively encouraged to participate through questions and discussions, with an opportunity to gain a comprehensive overview and a greater understanding of the issues.
