Are you looking to raise your environmental performance?
The planet and its environment, our environment, is now at the top of the agenda. There is now no doubt about the need to care for it far more than we have been doing or we face serious global consequences. The Stern Report on the economics of climate change, stresses that in order to avert disaster we need to adopt effective environmental measures now. If Stern’s assertions are correct and we implement these measures early enough it will have a great significance on the future performance of our businesses.
To help raise awareness and build on current expertise both within and outside the industry sector, FIRA is running an Environment Day. The day will give you and your colleagues the opportunity to meet the experts and find out what help is available. There will also be discussion forums and workshops where views can be exchanged to enhance capabilities.
The programme for this day will be interactive. Delegates will hear about current and planned policy. They will have the chance to put questions on matters which affect them. Issues such as environmental management systems, sustainable purchasing and production, environmental compliance and chain of custody will be very much on the agenda.
This event will bring you up to speed with current thinking - an opportunity not to be missed. Book now to avoid disappointment.
