Full Membership opens the door to advice from furniture industry experts and updated information concerning developments and legislation.

Background

TFO's aim is to inspire consumer confidence by improving the standard and service offered by retailers, manufacturers and other associated companies in the furniture and home improvement industry.  TFO presents its Full and Associate Members with an unrivalled badge of honour which is an endorsement of fair trade, quality and a commitment to customer service which distinguishes them from non-members.

TFO offers two tiers of membership for organisations who require different levels of support relating to customer service, consumer law and dispute resolution:

Full Members subscribe to The Furniture Ombudsman Code of Practice, which is underpinned by an independent dispute resolution service. This process offers peace of mind for customers, brings intractable disputes to a conclusion, and is often a lot more efficient than the court process.
