About TFO
TFO's aim is to improve the standard and service offered by retailers, manufacturers and other associated companies in the furniture and home improvement industry.
The Ombudsman presents its members with an unrivalled badge of honour from the industry which is an endorsement of fair trade, quality and a commitment to customer service which non-members cannot profess to have.
There are two levels of membership, Full and Associate.
Full Members subscribe to The Furniture Ombudsman Code of Practice, which is underpinned by an independent dispute resolution service which is administered by professionally qualified staff. This process offers peace of mind for customers, brings intractable disputes to a conclusion, and is often a lot more efficient than the court process.
Associate Members pledge their support for the overall aims of TFO and abide by the ethics of our Customer Charter which helps them to distinguish themselves to consumers.
