About TFO
TFO's aim is to help improve the standard and service offered by retailers in the furniture and home improvement industry.

There are two tiers of membership, Full and Associate.
Full Members subscribe to The Furniture Ombudsman Code of Practice, which is underpinned by an independent dispute resolution service and administered by professionally qualified staff. This process offers peace of mind for customers, brings intractable disputes to a conclusion, and is often a lot more efficient than the court process.
Associate Members pledge their support for the overall aims of TFO and abide by the ethics of our Customer Charter which helps them to distinguish themselves to consumers.
