Buying upholstered furnitureDeliveryWhen buying upholstery, take a tape measure to check that you can get the furniture into the desired room and that it will fit the intended location. Some retailers offer a ‘trial delivery’ service whereby they can check whether the furniture will fit before a firm delivery is placed. When your furniture arrives at your home, check carefully that it is ‘as ordered’ and fault-free.
