The new FIRA Specifier Services Website will aim to offer FIRA services for specifiers and manufacturers of contract and non-domestic furniture. This website will offer recent and up to date advice on how to specify furniture, and the important aspects relating to the company and the product. The website will also contain access to information on the most current standards for typical items of contract and non-domestic furniture accessed via a filtering system linked to a FIRA database.
The benefits of the service for specifiers are envisaged to be:

A simple to use website explaining what is important to them when specifying product, and up to date information. It will make their life easier and they have the re-assurance that their tender has effectively been ratified by FIRA.
The benefits of the service for manufacturers are envisaged to be:
- A more consistent approach to tendering, making it quicker, easier and thus cheaper to respond to tenders. The re-assurance that the right requirements are being specified and that everybody can compete on a like for like basis.
