FIRA to launch Furniture Footprinter in London on 17 April
FIRA is to launch its revolutionary web-based carbon footprinting system at a London seminar next month.
Developed in association with renowned environmental consultants Best Foot Forward, FIRA’s Furniture FootprinterTM is a powerful analysis and accounting tool which will help companies within the furniture supply chain reduce their carbon footprints.
Far more complex than simple carbon calculators, this next generation carbon and ecological accounting tool is specifically aimed at the issues facing the furniture sector, and calculates the footprints of products, projects, processes and entire organisations.
The Furniture FootprinterTM will be launched on the morning of 17 April at the Royal Society for Arts building just off The Strand in central London. The half day event will feature presentations from, among others, Nicky Chambers, Managing Director of Best Foot Forward, followed by practical demonstrations of the system in small groups using a wireless LAN. Lunch will be provided.
