Olympic industry day may interest linked seating suppliers

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) has just announced the following industry day:
Handball Arena works procurement industry day - morning of 1 April 2008 (Canary Wharf, London).

The ODA is holding an industry day to introduce the vision for the Handball Arena to experienced design and build contractors and suppliers.

The Handball Arena is located within the heart of the Olympic Park and during the Games will host the Olympic Handball and Paralympic Goalball events. In legacy the Handball Arena will provide a flexible seating capacity and facilities necessary to support community sports and leisure, a wide range of indoor sports training and local to international competitions.

This event is designed to provide further information on the scope, programme and key features on the forthcoming procurement process. There will be an opportunity for delegates to pose questions to a panel and meet the project team.

A maximum of 200 people will be invited to attend, with a maximum of two attendees from each company. Please email handballindustryday@london2012.com by 10.00am on the 26 March to register your interest. Places will be offered on a first come first served basis.
