June saw another record for this website, with over 10,000 unique visitors - up 26% on the previous month.
The previous monthly best for unique visitors was 8,819, recorded in March 2007, but last month saw 10,105 people take a look at the FIRA site, many of whom logged on after the death was announced of our colleague, Bill Gulliver. This is clearly a testament to the esteem in which he was held, and visitors wanting to pay their respects can now do so online through the virtual book of condolence.
The overall number of visits - 15,693 - was also a new monthly record, exceeding the 14,070 of last October, when the National Furniture Conference was held.
Speaking of which, the date and venue has been decided for this year's event, which has the theme 'What do buyers want?' More details will be announced soon, but set aside Wednesday 26 November in your diaries, and look forward to a visit to the National Space Centre in Leicester. Delegates are sure to find this new venue out of this world...
