Launch event of new contract furniture flammability guide
The launch of a brand new Guide will take place in London on April 14th, with FIRA's Phil Reynolds summarising the flammability requirements for non-domestic furniture.
The Guide, which has been compiled by FIRA on behalf of the British Furniture Confederation (BFC), is a sister publication to last year's guide to the regulations for the fire safety of domestic furniture.

This comprehensive document is an essential reference for manufacturers, component suppliers and specifiers as it describes how furniture sits within the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order. It specifically details the obligations of both end users and suppliers and suggests appropriate fire safety levels for furniture in a range of end use environments
As well as input from FIRA's flammability experts, the document incorporates invaluable contributions from both the British Contract Furnishing Association and individuals within the furniture industry.
To book your place at the launch event, and be the first to receive the new document, please contact Pete Beele by email pbeele@fira.co.uk - but do hurry as places are limited and will be awarded on a "first come first serve" basis.
