FIRA COO and Council Member achieve Liverymen status

We are delighted to announce that Jonny Westbrooke, FIRA's Chief Operating Officer and FIRA Council Member Andy Corbett were admitted as Liverymen to the WCFM at a Court meeting on 8th July.  Becoming a Liveryman of one of the City of London's Livery Companies is a great privilege and honour, which is only open to Freeman of the WCFM, who are engaged in or with the Furniture Industry in the United Kingdom.

Jonny joined the Livery in April 2009 and is a member of the WCFM Retail Training Committee.  Andy, who is Business Manager for Prima Foam, joined in September 2007 and is the son of Liveryman Jim Corbett.  Andy became a member the WCFM Manufacturing Training Committee in 2010 and was also made the FIT (Furnishing Industry Trust) Individual Supporter of the Year in 2010 in recognition of his outstanding support for the charity, especially his work in organising the annual fishing competition.

Also admitted as Liverymen were Alex Gifford, Head of Design for Kinnarps and Gary Anderson, Managing Director of Andrena Furniture.
