Rodney McMahon
Chairman and Finance Director - The British Contract Furnishing & Design Association

Born in Kenya but schooled in England, Rodney has a degree in Economics from Exeter University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
From his finance background he quickly moved to a management role, first in leisure business and subsequently as a management consultant. Property development led to an interest in interior design which in turn led to the acquisition of Morgan.
Rodney has developed and revitalised the company in the last 18 years from a company of 8 employees to one totalling 60, with a major position as a leader in the contract market.
He takes an active interest in the furniture industry as a whole and is keen to contribute to shaping its vision for the future, particularly through training and involvement with the trade.
Rodney is Chairman and Finance Director of the British Contract Furnishing & Design Association, an Assistant to, and former Honorary Treasurer of, The Furniture Makers Company; he is a fellow of the RSA; and he is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Edward Barnsley Educational Trust devoted to training apprentice cabinetmakers.
