Introducing the Gainsborough desk from M&S - winner of The Design Guild Mark
The Design Guild Mark is an award set up by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers to reward excellence in design and to promote its importance in the United Kingdom. Products are judged on design, materials, craftsmanship and function.
In 2011 the Gainsborough desk was presented with this prestigious award. Designed by M&S Designer Rachel Galbraith, this contemporary home office desk incorporates a unique handle detail set within a groove and includes soft-close drawers and optimum cable-tidy storage.
The Gainsborough is made from sustainably sourced oak solids and veneers and is manufactured by a FISP (Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme) accredited supplier.
