FIRA work in partnership with a number of furniture associations and industry organisations in a wide range of activities and initiatives.
BCFA
The British Contract Furnishing Association (BCFA) is the business association for the British contract furnishing industry. Its members are leading designers, manufacturers and suppliers of furnishing services to the office, hospitality, education and healthcare industry
The British Furniture Confederation (BFC)
The BFC acts a single voice for the UK furniture, furnishing and bed industries and 
has a mission to ensure that it has a strong and sustainable dialogue with Government in order to understand and influence changes in the market.
British Retail Consortium (BRC)
The British Retail Consortium (BRC) is the lead trade association representing the whole range of retailers, from the large multiples and department stores through to independents, selling a wide selection of products through centre of town, out of town, rural and virtual stores.
National School of Furniture
The fundamental aim of the new National School of Furniture (NSF) is to inspire people about the furniture industry and to enable them to find out about all the career options available within this diverse and exciting subject specialism.
It is intended to support education and industry in this country by maintaining high standards of teaching and training in the sector by connecting education to the furniture industry, be it through collaborative projects with schools, apprenticeship schemes, internships or graduate employment.
FIT
The Furnishing Industry Trust is an independent charity enhancing the lives of those who are working, or have worked, in the furnishing industry and who are now facing financial hardship or a personal crisis.
They provide grants for desperately needed one-off items and weekly grants for individuals, couples and their families suffering ongoing hardship.
The money they give transforms lives for people and their families in the Furnishing Industry.
KBSA
The Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association (KBSA) brings together over 300 fully accredited, UK based independent, retailers. Each KBSA member provides all the expertise required to design and install your new or updated fitted kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or home office.
National Bed Federation
The National Bed Federation is the recognised trade association representing UK manufacturers of beds and mattresses and their suppliers. Whatever your interest in the UK bed market.
