The portfolio consists of six desking ranges – BENCHMARK, SPACE, B4, M1000, ENERGY and MIME – and they are complemented by a wide range of storage, screens and tables
All the products are also incorporated in our ROBOT computerised space planning software. It works in 2D or, in conjunction with Autocad, in 2-D, 3-D and 3-D rendering. The user can drag the required desking shapes on to the office plan and then add further elements such as storage, screens and desk accessories. Changes in the specification, such as finishes and shared components, can be made at the press of a button. ROBOT will then calculate the parts-list and, in the Autocad version, convert the image to 3D for a realistic view of the final design and allow it to be exported for creating animated sequences.
In addition to space planning, Morris has developed its highly automated ROBO-QUOTE software which costs up the parts list generated by the space plan or, if the customer prefers, allows quotations to be drawn up using the principles of ‘shopping basket’ selection.
