Nighttime positioning is a key part of any 24-hour postural management programme for children and adults who cannot independently alter their position during the night and therefore are at risk of developing an asymmetric posture.
The Moonlite sleep system has been developed to complement our wide range of seating and enable JCM to offer a full 24-hour postural management range.
Ranges of supports slide and lock onto the frame to give side support to the client and maintain a midline position.
These supports are adjustable in angle and can be laid flat to make moving and handling the client in and out of bed easier without any need to remove all the brackets.
This feature of the brackets also means that the system can be folded down for transportation with the brackets still in place alleviating the problem of having to reset the system every time it is moved.
For side lying there is an adjustable height and angle top leg support which slides into place with minimum effort as well as an extra high back support bracket.
On top of the systems frame lies a padded cover which is made from pressure relieving foam with a unique air flow system helping to keep the users body temperature normal. This is then covered with a two way stretch top sheet to make the system complete.
